Ryan practices primarily in the firm’s estate planning, real estate and business planning group. Ryan has substantial experience providing legal representation and advice to a wide range of business clients, including privately held businesses, family held businesses, owners, officers, directors, managers and others involved with business transactions. He advocates for and guides his clients through business and corporate transactions, including entity formation, corporate structuring and governance, business management, contract and contract disputes, and mergers and acquisitions.
Ryan’s practice includes working closely with clients to develop estate and succession business plans by helping clients identify their objectives and providing creative and realistic solutions designed to meet their goals. Ryan represents personal representatives and trustees in the administration of estates and trusts, and he works with the firm’s litigators in matters involving estate and trust litigation.
Ryan also represents lenders, borrowers, owners and investors in a variety of real estate, business and loan transactions. He negotiates purchases and sales of commercial, industrial and residential properties. He counsels tenants and landlords in the preparation, review and negotiation of industrial, retail and office leases. Ryan represents lenders and borrowers in connection with commercial and consumer loan transactions, as well as credit workouts including loan modifications, deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure, foreclosures, and similar actions.
Outside of the office, Ryan loves spending time with his wife, Stephanie, and his three daughters, Bree, Mia and Emme. His daughters’ school and sports activities keep him and Stephanie on the go! Ryan enjoys traveling, mountain hiking, fly fishing, and reading John Grisham novels, and he is also an avid baseball and basketball fan and enjoys watching his favorite sports teams (L.A. Dodgers, Wyoming Cowboys, Creighton Bluejays, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Denver Broncos, and Duke Blue Devils).
